As part of the vaccination campaign of the Ministry of Health and the Social Security, health workers from the Social Security will be vaccinating our students against the H1N1 Influenza this Wednesday and Thursday. All students above the age of 7 years are eligible to be vaccinated.

If you would like your son or daughter to be vaccinated against this virus, please complete and return the authorization form by today.

Last chance to register for next year!
Almost all parents have completed the online Pre-Registration process - THANK YOU!
We have a small number who have Pre-Registered but have not carried out the Registration Process at school. Most of this group have small sums owing which have to be cleared before we can continue with the Registration Process for next year.
Please note that the Administration will be open for this today and tomorrow, to enable the last few to register for next year.

UP Family days
This week it will be the turn of children in UP to invite their parents to come in to school for their school Family Days. Dates for each Grade are below. We look forward to seeing you.

21st Century Boys
On Wednesday 30th May from 7am to 8am in the Seminar Room (above the Jubilee Library) Mr Fastiggi will be giving a presentation to the parents of boys who are currently in Prepa. The talk will be entitled 21st Century Boys and is very relevant to parents who have children of this age as it is around now that we notice, in school, that boys are beginning to assert themselves, to experiment with rule making and breaking, negotiating and  testing  friendships and boundaries. Mr Fastiggi has been interested in this topic and has led this INSET for both teachers and parents this year as well as beginning a mentoring scheme involving Grade 11 students with some of our younger pupils. He will be teaching in Grade 1 next year.

Latin American Music Concert
Our annual Latin American Music Concert takes place on Wednesday 30th May. This is a wonderful event involving our musical pupils playing alongside a professional band. The concert begins at 6.30pm in the PAC and there will be room for dancing for those who find it hard just to sit and listen! Tickets are available from all offices in school and cost $2.

Moving up day
On Friday 1st June all children in Primary will ‘Move up’ to the classes, and wherever possible teachers, that they will be with next year. This is a very exciting day for our pupils and I know that they look forward to it. Grade 5 pupils will spend Thursday and Friday of next week in the care of the Secondary school; meeting teachers, having lessons and talks and finding their way around.
