HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
The United Kingdom celebrates the 60th anniversary of the accession to the throne on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We shall also be celebrating in school on Tuesday with “Cake and Bunting”. Students: participate in the Jubilee Quiz which will be out on Tuesday - “What does the Queen do in the opening of Parliament?”.
Do you remember the Queen’s Golden Jubilee? Ten years ago we named the Primary School’s new library the “Jubilee Library” to celebrate this event.
Influenza inoculation
Thank you to Dr Millian and her team for giving over 200 influenza inoculations over the last two days. This version is the latest type and so augments the one given last December.

Teaching staff in Pre Kinder classes have put together a slideshow for parents showing the highlights of the year. All parents are welcome to come along to enjoy viewing the year - from a child’s perspective.
Tuesday 5th June HM Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee
Whilst children and teachers in the UK will be celebrating this occasion with street parties, picnics and a day off school, here we will be having our own celebration with a special Jubilee cake.
Friday 8th June 3rd Grade Field trip
Children and teaching staff in Grade 3 are off to the farm on Friday for their end of year trip. The children are going to visit the Hacienda La Colina near Chalchuapa to experience farm life for themselves.
Friday 8th June 5th Grade field trip to Club Tecleño
5th Grade pupils and teachers will be out of school on Friday at Club Tecleño for the first of their end of year celebrations.

Secondary News
Please make sure you are checking your Classblog for up to date news of events happening over the next two weeks. Many classes have different activities taking place. We will be issuing final reports on Friday 15th June but only if students have completed their clearance forms. Please check your son or daughter understands what they need to do to about their clearance forms.
We have AWARDS ASSEMBLIES for all Grades over the coming fortnight. The schedule is shown below. Please note parents are invited to these events.
Please note that ONLY Grade 10 and Grade 11 students will be representing the school at the Final Graduation of the Class of 2012 on Thursday 14th June but all students will be going home at lunchtime on that day so we can prepare for the Graduation ceremony.
