Primary News

Book Week
Next week is Book Week in the primary school and we will be immersing your children in as much literature, in both Spanish and English, as we can. Each grade has taken either a theme or an author to focus on this year to try to make the week more focussed. The book costume parade will take place around the primary school on Thursday and we will be selling books in the library during the week. You are welcome to bring your children to browse the books available for sale after the end of the school day.

Survey
Thank you very much to the parents who have already responded to the primary survey sent out this week. We value your comments and opinions and these will help us to shape the school for the future. If you haven’t already done so please take the time to complete the survey so that the views of as many parents as possible are represented.

ABC Kids got Talent
After a large number of registrations, the ABC Kids got Talent Auditions are ready for next week, starting on Monday! Please note that parents are not allowed for auditions.

This year the Talent Show will be an internal activity and only for Upper Primary Students.

We have been enjoying the Volleyball inter tribal events this week which continue next week. There have been some close fought, excellent matches.

On Friday we have an IGCA non uniform day to celebrate Earth Day. Students can wear jeans and a T shirt from a past IGCA campaign or any green T shirt. By green we mean a T shirt which is green in colour or supports a green environmental cause or message. Please note we are not including green football shirts.

Many students have volunteered to help in the Summer Carnival. Please check with them and make sure they arrive on time. It is a great opportunity to make up some social hours!
