Primary News

UP Sports Days
Thank you to all of the parents who came along to UP Sports Days last week to support their children. We understand that many parents cannot make these events due to work commitments but, nevertheless, all of the children got involved and had a wonderful morning in a healthily competitive but community atmosphere. Thanks too to the PE team for their organisation.

Parent meetings
In response to comments from parents in last year’s survey we will, this year, be having parent/teacher meetings more often. This term all primary teachers will meet with parents to discuss their child’s progress and achievements; we suggest that you bring with you the report from last term as this will serve as a basis for discussion. In LP parents will be invited to attend throughout the term, in UP parent/teacher conferences begin on Monday 21st January and parents should already have received a letter about this. Please remember to use the emergency car park when attending these meetings.

Kinder Frances assembly
We look forward to seeing the parents of children in Kinder Frances at their assembly on Friday 25th January.

Entrance Evaluations
It really doesn’t seem like 12 months since the last evaluations for children wishing to enter our PK classes but those children are already established, confident and interesting members of our school community. They have certainly adapted to school life quickly! Our evaluations for our PK classes for school year 13/14 will take place on Saturday 26th January and Saturday 9th February.
